Teachers and Wall Street

Gotta love Jon Stewart..

By the way, for the record, teachers don't get summers off, they're 9 month employees. I don't get paid over the summer unless I elect to teach summer courses. I do get a summer stipend as department chair, the princely sum of about $2,500 to be on call all summer, deal with all kinds of issues, and make sure everything's ready to go when the semester kicks off in late August. Anyone care to figure out the hourly rate for working 3 months for $2,500? It's less than minimum wage.
