Let's try this again, shall we?

When I first began this blog, over a decade ago now, I posted quite frequently. After a few years, I got pretty busy - wrote a book on the geology of the Hudson Valley (see sidebar), worked as STEM department chair for the largest department on campus, went through a divorce and remarriage, and now work part-time as an associate dean along with my full-time professor and department chair duties (it's essentially three jobs).

So, even though I'm way busy, I still miss writing. I will try to post once a week (on weekends) to revive this blog a bit. Let's see how it goes.
