Spent most of the day at Mount Rainier National Park. The lower elevations of the park were in the upper fifties with intermittent sun but the higher elevations were overcast and cold with 10 feet of snowpack!

Serendipity Google search brought me here and i couldn't stop until i retraced the entire mega road trip. Excellent travelogue – you’re kids will appreciate it. I’m ready to read (or live!) the full length, leave the family at home, pack the four wheel drive full of gear and go version.
