It's a refrigerator magnet that was for sale by Forever 21, a store aimed at young women. While the item is now listed as "Out of stock", hopefully pulled due to bad publicity, it's available as a t-shirt on Amazon as well.
This really pisses me off. Not only as the father of a beautiful 10 year old girl who does very well in math, but at how damaging and insulting this message is to young women.
If you purchase something like this, you're not too pretty to do math, you're too fucking stupid.

When I googled "fuck geologists" this site came up. Not only do geologists have the most boring profession of any academic circle, they are terrible at organizing their information. They don't make any practical discoveries, they simply state the obvious and create names for things that are already named! They then proceed to categorize the information many times over just for the sake of having something to do. I think the world would be a better place if Geology was never studied or practiced ever again.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I've died and gone to hellven! I know nothing about geology, but I know great daddy when I see him. Let your patience be as great as your love, especially if your daughter goes through those "terrible teens," and she will one day become fully cognizant of who's got her back. Say it, brotha'!
